Nanoparticles

Description:

Diamond nanoparticles are a type of carbon nanoparticle and are often referred to as "nanodiamond". They are related to a large group of carbon materials with very different production methods (e.g. explosive methods, chemical vapor deposition, physical vapor deposition), appearance, size, properties and application. Diamondoids are a specific type of diamond-based nanoparticle that occurs naturally and can be extracted from hydrocarbon deposits.
