Nano–High is a program for high school students and teachers run by the University of California's Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). The program consists of a series of Saturday morning lectures focused on the cutting-edge scientific issues. Speakers include LBNL senior scientists, UC Berkeley Professors, and distinguished visiting scientists. Nano-High talks are aimed at all high school students, from all disciplines with or without a science background. The program was launched in the 2003-2004 academic year. In the ninth season of the program (2011-2012), over 900 students and their teachers attended at least one of the sessions.
